War never changes...

I thought I just let you know that we are still working hard on getting our second server back. Please understand that this is beyond our control and there is no exact ETA for when we will get back. I think it will be somewhere around the middle of July.

The good news is that when we finally get back online we make some major changes at ADC, for instance we will upgrade the forum to a better and more powerful one, during this downtime I have prepared most of it so it will be ready to go online when we get our second server back.

In the mean time, here are some interesting news from the The Pirate Bay blog about the whole affair:

As many of you already know the raid on us were ordered by the retractable baton lovers at MPAA. This has been a pretty big issue on the Swedish news lately. Since many of our foreign friends have requested translated news, some nice people have now made some subtitles.

You can watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6DBn0BncMk

In Sweden it is considered very important that the politicians do not interfere with certain cases of police work. So you might understand why people here are so pissed off about Bush, MPAA, fucking Tom Cruise or whoever it was being behind this big sabotage against The Pirate Bay.

The sun that never sets

I just thought I'd keep you updated so you know that we're doing our best in coming online again ASAP.

As you might know ADC and TY are hosted on two servers, MKULTRA (webserver) and MKNAOMI (database server). MKULTRA is currently in our possession. We are working hard on getting MKNAOMI back, when that happens it's just a matter of hours before we come online again.

I'd like to thank everybody that have shown their support, and behalf of the whole staff I'd like to say that we appreciate your support and patience. It feels good to see that the community stands behind us even during the hard times.

We'll be back, and in the mean time go out, get some air, enjoy the FIFA world cup. Or if you can't get DVDs out of your head, rip a few Asian movies, watch some of the movies you got, put together a DVD-related tutorial or scan some covers.

ADC-servers seized in police raid

Yesterday Swedish authorities raided a ISP (RixPort80 where PRQ is a branch) as they were looking for servers belonging to The Pirate Bay. At the same moment 50 officers raided the homes of people connected to TPB in over 10 locations all over Sweden.

What does this have to do with ADC? - We were customers of PRQ and it appears that the police has taken all their servers (to secure TPB evidence), including the ones that belong to other people, for example ADC. Hundreds of sites have been shut down, we are one of them.

The still have our servers and we are doing our best to get them back and have ADC up as soon as possible.

However I must say that people that used ADC do not need to worry about anything. You won't get in any trouble because of this. I will update this blog with new information as soon as I get it.

By the way it was ADC's birthday yesterday, I discovered that the site was down when I was going to update it with fun competition as well as launch a site I know you all have been waiting for a long time.

Some birthday, huh?
