War never changes...
The good news is that when we finally get back online we make some major changes at ADC, for instance we will upgrade the forum to a better and more powerful one, during this downtime I have prepared most of it so it will be ready to go online when we get our second server back.
In the mean time, here are some interesting news from the The Pirate Bay blog about the whole affair:
As many of you already know the raid on us were ordered by the retractable baton lovers at MPAA. This has been a pretty big issue on the Swedish news lately. Since many of our foreign friends have requested translated news, some nice people have now made some subtitles.

In Sweden it is considered very important that the politicians do not interfere with certain cases of police work. So you might understand why people here are so pissed off about Bush, MPAA, fucking Tom Cruise or whoever it was being behind this big sabotage against The Pirate Bay.

It has nothing to do with anime itself. I do enjoy some anime movies; Miyazaki stuff, Perfect Blue, Voices of a Distant Star, some other obvious classics and a few series are ok too; but that's besides the point. The site is just filled with random anime after random anime, sure there are some good ones but I have never understood why anime has to have bit torrent sites dedicated to itself? Animation as a whole I can see because there are many gems from many countries to view but with anime there is so much crap that's out their and way too many people who will like it no matter what. I know this because I've had friends/aquintances before whom were like this. I've seen ALOT of anime and hated about 90% of what I saw, but I can say the same for american animation too! Sorry but to me the site is filled with crap anime, whatever.. that's my opinion. Don't tell you don't think sites like Mininova aren't filled with crap movies? It doesn't mean there's nothing good at all... just not what I am looking for. =(
Also my line about intelligent movies was due to the fact that many torrent sites with asian sections are filled with pretty stupid ones compared to what kind of movies ADC had on it, it has nothing to do with anime.
It looks like I'll just have to wait for ADC... *sigh*
I really hope this project doesn't get aborted, it scares me to think about it. O:
